A Red 10" Radio Flyer Tricycle

Grandma Linda and Paw Paw got Logan a very nice gift for his 2nd birthday.  It arrived in the mail on Wednesday.  We had the box in the front hall.  I had planned on opening the box and putting it together after Logan went to bed.  Logan had other plans.  He dragged the box into the family room and proceeded to open the box.
What's this?  A box inside a box?
Hey, I can fit in this box.

What's up here?
Looks like daddy is going to box up Logan and ship him back.

Well.  That was as far as Logan got.  He lost interest in the box.  And besides, it was bedtime.  So, after about a billion (more like 5 or 6) stories, I came down to put the tricycle together.
My first look at the bike.
All the parts.

The finished tricycle.
It wasn't that hard to put together--except for lining up and tightening the handlebars.  That was super difficult.  Now, all I had to do was wait for Logan to see it in the morning.
Here's Logan taking his first "ride" on his new tricycle.
We did take the tricycle outside twice yesterday.  However, I forgot the camera.  He likes the bike.  He just needs to learn to pedal and how to use the handlebars to steer.   If I attach the handle and he doesn't steer--we don't go very far--except into the lawn.

This morning Logan tried his tricycle again in the house.  He is getting better at steering.  But he pushed with his feet.  I tried to show him about pedaling--but in due time, I know.
Hey mom.  What's up.
He said "cheese" as I was taking this pic.  I love this shot!
You didn't know that back platform was to transport cookies?
Thanks Grandma Linda and Paw Paw.  It's a great gift!!  Logan really loves it!
