10 things

It's been a while since I posted anything about Logan lately.  So, I figured I would tell you 10 things that are relevant to Logan over the past 2-3 weeks.

1.  Logan developed a new painting technique.  It's called the double brush.  It is very effective for getting lots of paint and creating new strokes on the page.

2.  Logan's cars like to eat and have breakfast with him on occasion.  Think animals drinking around a lake.

3. Logan's favorite thing to do at the park is swing.  He would swing for hours if I would let him.

4. We went to our first story time the other day.  It was interesting.  I wasn't sure if Logan would be able to sit through it.  He did okay.  It was tough for him to focus.  Especially since there was some construction going on outside the window.  I might try to go again before we go back to school.

5. Speaking of reading, Logan loves to have books read to him.  Often times we have to read the same book 4 or 5 or 8 times in a row.  I can recite some by heart now.

6. We were given an easel from a friend of mine for Logan.  I finally got a roll of paper for it.  It has brought about Logan's love of painting again.  He will go over and start to paint, then ask me to put on his apron and open the paints he can not.  He especially likes to paint his arms.

7. Today I heard Logan string 2 words together.  Maybe he has done this before, but it was very clear today!!  He said, "Another can!" when going through his play kitchen.

8.  Have I mentioned how much Logan is into cars right now?  He loves them so much that often he takes his matchbox cars--specifically his bus--to nap time and bedtime with him.

9.  Logan wants to try to put his clothes on from time to time--by himself.  Here he is putting on his shorts.
I can put my shorts on myself...watch.
What?  Both legs don't go in this hole?
9.  We've been slowly working on teaching Logan how to pedal his bike.  It's hard for him, but I think he is getting it.  He still mostly pushes with his feet on the ground, but he does try to push the pedals.

10.  I don't have pictures, but we went to Angela and Paul's last night and Logan was fabulous with the dogs, Coco and Ralph.  I wasn't sure how he would do.  He played fetch with them, he tried to pet them nicely, he gave them many kisses (super cute), and he even tried to pick up Coco.  I was proud of him.
