Tiny and the Professor: Sippy Cup?

We tried the sippy cup one day and one day only. He didn't really go for it. We know we have to keep at it, but I don't want it sitting around with formula in it. Can you put water in it?

BLW--Baby Led Weaning

yogurt melts--likes
broccoli--loves!
banana--she's not a fan
bread--likes
peas, carrots, corn--likes, likes, likes
pork--likes
chicken--likes
ham--likes
wild rice--Uncle Ben's. She had it on Thanksgiving and gobbled it up.
turkey--she really liked the turkey. it was seasoned with salt and pepper.
apple sauce--I don't think she's a fan. It is the only puree we have tried though.
Baby MumMums--she ate these right up. Logan did not like them at all.
sweet potato--she likes this served in steamed slices
apple--served in slices. She liked it a little bit more mushy from steaming than giving it to her cold
cucumber--she can hold it, and munch on it, but I don't think she actually ate any of it
avocado--I think she liked it. Served in slices
