We decided that we needed a nighttime routine for Logan...we would (most likely me--sad) bath him around 9pm. Then "we" would read a story and he would go down into his crib around 9:30
So, today was the first night we are doing this. The bath went well, but he loves his bath. He is in his ducky tub, which I use in the big tub in the downstairs bathroom. I like that he is no longer in the stages tub, but I hate having to sit on the ground to bath him...it totally sucks. We went up, I put him in his sleeper, and put him in the crib. But first, I read him Are You My Mother? He kept trying to pull the book from me.
I laid him on his tummy, which he didn't like. It's a shame because I hate that he sleeps on his back--his flat head really, really bothers me. Maybe I can roll him when we go to bed. Anyway, He did okay. He fussed a few times, but it was because he lost his paci. I think it went well. It took maybe 5-10 minutes before I left the room--I hung out in the glider for a while and almost fell asleep myself. I hope tomorrow goes as well. It'll be great to have a routine for Logan.
I can't believe how big he is getting... time is just flying. I barely remember what he looked like when he was so tiny.
