New Letters in the bath

Logan was having a problem with bath time.  So, we bought him some new bath toys--foam letters that stick to the wall.
He really loves his new letters.

How much does he love them?
He loves them so much that he doesn't even need bath water to play with them.

Gooses, Geeses

Logan got to see some geese up close and personal at Mueller Park during his egg hunt.

Egg Hunt at Mueller Park 2011

Logan and I went to an Egg Hunt today at Mueller Park.  While Logan has now been on 2 egg hunts in his short little life, I have never been on any egg hunts--never, ever.  So, we decided to go on down.  We brought a dozen eggs I had filled with stickers.  Some of the other moms and dads "hid" the eggs for the kiddos to find.  Finally, it was time to go get some eggs.

And of course, once he found some eggs, he had to sit right down and eat what was in them.

Fancy Ketchup

Logan likes to be like mama and dada.  He likes to do what we do.  This includes dipping fries into ketchup--which until this past week he had never tried it.
The verdict is in.................
Logan likes it.

The image in my rear view mirror.

Every day this week, and some of last week, when Logan and i get to our destination, I see the same thing when I look back in him in my rear view...

This evening it was only just a shoe.  Usually the sock comes off too.

Bluebonnets 2011

Due to the lack of rain this year, the bluebonnet fields are few and far between.  I did get a tip about a field out at Settler's Park in Round Rock.  So, on the way home from school, considering we pass the park, Logan and I stopped.

Taking pictures with a child that is under 1 and doesn't walk is super simple.  Just plop the baby down where you want him or her to sit and snap away.  Taking pictures with a 21-month-old is not quite as easy.  They run and they don't quite listen when you ask them to sit.

Here is Logan's bluebonnet session.  Needless to say, but he didn't really want to sit for a picture.  We did manage to get one or two that I like.

Run, run Logan.

Logan spotted a car, so he paused from his running.

I'm going this way--where the bluebonnets aren't.

This spot looks good for a rest.

Try and keep up mom.

And, he's off....

Going....going.....

Gone!!
I did manage to get him to rest and sit for about 3-4 minutes.
Hey...this one isn't a bluebonnet.

Let me just get a closer look at it.

I actually really like this one, even though it's not the best of the bunch.

Good, but too much shadow on Logan's face.

I'm just gonna pick this one here.

What are you lookin' at?

Finally, Logan had enough.  And again, he was off....
