Bluebonnets 2011

Due to the lack of rain this year, the bluebonnet fields are few and far between.  I did get a tip about a field out at Settler's Park in Round Rock.  So, on the way home from school, considering we pass the park, Logan and I stopped.

Taking pictures with a child that is under 1 and doesn't walk is super simple.  Just plop the baby down where you want him or her to sit and snap away.  Taking pictures with a 21-month-old is not quite as easy.  They run and they don't quite listen when you ask them to sit.

Here is Logan's bluebonnet session.  Needless to say, but he didn't really want to sit for a picture.  We did manage to get one or two that I like.

Run, run Logan.

Logan spotted a car, so he paused from his running.

I'm going this way--where the bluebonnets aren't.

This spot looks good for a rest.

Try and keep up mom.

And, he's off....

Going....going.....

Gone!!
I did manage to get him to rest and sit for about 3-4 minutes.
Hey...this one isn't a bluebonnet.

Let me just get a closer look at it.

I actually really like this one, even though it's not the best of the bunch.

Good, but too much shadow on Logan's face.

I'm just gonna pick this one here.

What are you lookin' at?

Finally, Logan had enough.  And again, he was off....
