Birthday Party and Petting Zoo All In One

A little over a month ago, Logan and I went to the first birthday party of Athena, the daughter of my friend Nisa.  Logan had a blast.  There was a fun bouncy toy, a bubble machine, cupcakes, and a petting zoo.

Logan found the bouncy toy and had a blast playing in it.

Static cling!

 Nisa had set out some noise makers.  Logan loved trying to make it un-roll!

 After we had been there for a little while, the petting zoo showed up.  She set up a bubble machine.  Logan explored that for a little while.

Eventually, he found the petting zoo.  He had to wait his turn, which he did not like. 

I can almost reach those bunnies.  Just another inch or two...

The first try in the circle was hard.  Logan was super excited, but didn't know how to handle the baby animals right.  So, I had to take him out and calm him down.  The next time in, he did much better.

Finally it was time to leave the petting zoo and go have a cupcake or two.

First Lollipop

For Halloween, Lorri's MIL gave Logan a Halloween basket with some candy in it.  So, of course Logan wanted some.  We decided he could have a lollipop.

For us, it was his first.  He took to it like a pro--which makes us question if it really was his first...

Harvest Hay Ride

Avery Ranch had it annual Harvest Hay Ride yesterday.  We brought Logan to it this year.  He loved seeing the horsies and enjoyed the rides in the back of the carriage too!

Like Father Like Son

Last night, Kevin was mowing our back yard.  Of course Logan wanted to be like Dada.  Logan doesn't have a lawn mower, but he does have a Cozy Coupe.

Logan loves to play with his train track.  Luckily for him, his cars fit pretty well on the tracks too!
