A little over a month ago, Logan and I went to the first birthday party of Athena, the daughter of my friend Nisa. Logan had a blast. There was a fun bouncy toy, a bubble machine, cupcakes, and a petting zoo.

Logan found the bouncy toy and had a blast playing in it.

Nisa had set out some noise makers. Logan loved trying to make it un-roll!
After we had been there for a little while, the petting zoo showed up. She set up a bubble machine. Logan explored that for a little while.
Eventually, he found the petting zoo. He had to wait his turn, which he did not like.

The first try in the circle was hard. Logan was super excited, but didn't know how to handle the baby animals right. So, I had to take him out and calm him down. The next time in, he did much better.
Finally it was time to leave the petting zoo and go have a cupcake or two.
