Every year a mom group I am part of has an egg hunt down at Mueller Lake Park. This is the third year I have gone. So, that's the third egg hunt for Logan and the first for Scarlet.
This year we got there early so Logan could have some time to play on the playground there. It was an overcast day, so there weren't as many other non-nesties there yet. Logan had a blast.
Logan was super excited to hunt for eggs, but when the time came, something
happened and he got scared and upset. With some coaxing, I got him out into the
grass and he found some eggs. I did have to remind him to just pick up
the eggs and not to open them first. Scarlet found one or two eggs on
her own. The kids had a ton of fun.
Here are the kids looking through and sharing what they found...well, what Logan found anyway.
In one of the eggs were some mustache stickers. Logan really liked them. He told his mustache joke several times.
We were, well I was, trying to pack up and get us in the car to leave. But, Logan had other plans. There is a lake at Mueller Park and there are a bunch of geese that live on that lake. Logan wanted to see them. So I let him and Scarlet explore for a little while longer before we had to leave.
