Just wanted to do a quick update. Logan is doing well.
He has 6 teeth....count 'em--6!!! Four on the top and two on the bottom. He likes to eat cheerios and puffs by biting them with his teeth...very cute!
Logan is walking. I am unsure if I posted a video, but I will do another. He is doing great at it. He doesn't stumble as much. Ramps are hard for him. Our driveway is the worst. He does stairs like nobody's business. He is getting better at going in and out of our back door...there is one step down and he is getting good at it.
Speaking of going outside...Logan likes to go out front. We have this flowerpot that is currently home to those smooth round glass bead things. He likes to take them out and put them back in. Logan often takes my hand and takes me on a tour to the front door so he can go outside to do this. Again...very cute!!
Unfortunately, he has not really said any words yet. He is great at saying mama. He says that a lot. Today I heard him say wawa for his water. We are working on ear, nose, and more (for more food). We are hoping also to teach him done so he stops throwing his food when he is done. Dr. Marshall said not to worry about him not having words yet...he'll get there.
Big news!!! Logan is done with his pacifier. He no longer uses it for naps and we have been 5 nights now without it. I am so proud of him. Although, I like to secretly think he never really needed it.
Logan is a little piggy when it comes to eating. He loves to eat. He can eat and eat and eat. It is crazy. But, he doesn't like to eat the same thing for days in a row. No longer can I send chicken or pasta all week for lunch. Poor Marisa at daycare has to deal with him when he doesn't want what I send with him. We tried peanut butter this week. Thankfully he is NOT allergic. He's also good with strawberries and fish and milk. Right now he can't eat onions and we are limiting his red meat intake as it doesn't digest very well.
I can't think of any other major updates since this summer. We bought him a play kitchen from Melissa and Doug (at a garage sale of course), and he loves it. We also bought him a Little Tikes play house for the backyard from Craig's List. He likes it as well. This coming weekend we are going to take him back out to Sweet Berry Farms to get our pumpkin patch pictures...so stop back to see those pictures.
I will leave with a recent photo of the boy...just in case you forgot how cute he is.
He is so adorable! Jeffrey did the same thing with talking, as boys are busy climbing, running and doing "boy" stuff, they sometimes don't talk as quick. We taught Jeffrey some sign language so he could communicate what he was needing instead of whining or crying. You should try it! I would like to stop by this weekend and see my nephew. I'll give you a call. Have fun at the pumpkin farm!
